Dental Assistant/RDA

We are a busy pediatric dentistry office with immediate openings for Dental Assistants and Registered Dental Assistants. Candidates must be highly organized with strong communication skills (both verbal and written), dependable, have a bright smile with a positive attitude, and be able to relate well to both adults and children. This is a full time position with benefits, part-time positions will be considered. Our office hours are Monday- Friday from 8:00am-5:00pm. •Starting pay is based on experience and licensure•Duties for this position may include but are not limited to;

Patient Preparation:

Greet patients, show them to the treatment room, and help them get comfortable. Assisting with

Procedures:

Hand instruments and equipment to the dentist, suction fluids, and assist with various dental treatments.

Radiography:

Take and develop dental X-rays.

Sterilization:

Clean and sterilize instruments, equipment, and treatment areas to prevent the spread of infection.

Impressions:

Take impressions and scans of patients' teeth to create models or casts.

Patient Education:

Provide instructions on post-procedure care and proper oral hygiene.

Apply topical fluoride and sealants:

after a dental professional has provided care. Accurate documentation in electronic and paper health records Charting Other clinical and administrative duties as assigned

Job Types:

$18.00 - $24.00 per hour
