Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and assisting the dental team in delivering exceptional services. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Duties Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow and patient comfort. Prepare and maintain the dental operatory by following aseptic techniques and infection control protocols. Perform medical imaging tasks, including X-rays, while ensuring patient safety and comfort. Manage patient records using dental clinic systems such as Eaglesoft, maintaining accuracy and confidentiality. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care instructions. Support endodontic and prosthodontic procedures by preparing necessary materials and instruments. Conduct four-handed dentistry to enhance efficiency during treatments. Maintain inventory of dental supplies and assist in ordering when necessary. Skills Proficient in aseptic technique to ensure a sterile environment. Knowledge of endodontics and prosthodontics is highly desirable. Strong understanding of dental anatomy to assist effectively during procedures. Familiarity with medical imaging techniques relevant to dentistry. Experience with dental clinic systems, particularly Eaglesoft, is an advantage. Ability to perform four-handed dentistry efficiently. Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication with patients and team members. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks in a busy clinic setting.
Hours Mon-Wed:
8am to 5
PM Thursday:

Pay:
$21.00 - $28.00 per hour
