Autoclaving Full Job Description Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. As a DA you will play a crucial role in assisting our dentist and ensuring the smooth operation of our dental practice.

Duties:

• Assist dentists during dental procedures, including general dentistry and specialty treatments
• Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations and procedures
• Take and record vital signs of patients
• Perform dental x-rays and maintain accurate records
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
• Provide chairside assistance to dentists during procedures
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care
• Infection control
• Intraoral scanning

Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited Dental Assistant program
• Proficiency in dental software systems (e.g., Open Dental)
• Knowledge of dental anatomy and terminology
• Experience in infection control protocols and practices
• Ability to take accurate dental x-rays
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members
• Proficiency and knowledge of current OSHA safety guidelines.
