Typical Business Hours Monday, Tuesday, Thursday:
8-5pm
Wednesday:
10-7pm We work one half-Friday a month, but we also close the Monday of that week. 1 Dentist, 2 Hygienist office. Dentist works out of one column with one of the two assistants while the other assistant rovers. Assistants alternate roles daily. Daily functions are mainly non-RDA. License is not required, but encouraged as a goal in the future.

63 Hours of Paid Holidays 99 Hours of PTO 3.5% Retirement Match Dental Care Duties Assist dentists during examinations and treatment procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety. Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment according to infection control protocols. Take X-rays as needed, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Maintain accurate patient records using Oryx. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Manage appointment scheduling and patient flow within the clinic. Assist with tasks as needed, including cleaning/organizing office and inventory management of dental supplies. Skills Proficiency in dental assisting techniques and procedures, with experience in general dentistry preferred. Familiarity with medical terminology related to dentistry and medical imaging. Experience using dental management systems such as Eaglesoft / Dentrix / OpenDental or similar software. Strong understanding of X-ray technology and safety protocols. Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients of all ages, including pediatrics. Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while maintaining professionalism. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing patient records and appointments.
