We are seeking a dedicated and professional Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) or Dental Assistant (DA) to join Dr. Grimaldi's practice three days a week. Located in Hemet, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional patient care in a warm, supportive environment. If you are self-disciplined, reliable, and passionate about dentistry, we would love to meet you.
Responsibilities:
Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety. Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain an organized and clean workspace. Capture digital dental radiographs (X-rays) using modern imaging technology. Educate patients on post-operative care and oral hygiene instructions. Manage patient flow, ensuring appointments stay on schedule. Maintain accurate patient records and assist with charting during visits. Maintain logs for procedures, supplies, and patient records as required. Assist with ordering and inventory management of dental supplies. Qualifications Current RDA or DA license in the state of California. Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a dental practice. Proficiency with digital X-rays and Dentrix software. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Self-motivated, reliable, and professional demeanor. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to perform vital signs assessment and support pediatric dentistry cases confidently. Excellent understanding of dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and medical terminology relevant to dentistry. Skilled in chairside assisting techniques including four-handed dentistry for optimal patient care efficiency. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality of patient information at all times.
