Dental Assistant Pediatric Experience Preferred (Startup Practice)

Brushketeers Dentistry for Kids is a growing children's dental practice dedicated to creating a fun, friendly, and educational experience for every child. As a startup, we value adaptability, teamwork, and a passion for helping children develop positive lifelong oral health habits. Our office sees patients from ages 1 to 18, including children with special needs, and we're looking for someone who's excited to grow with us!

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Dental Assistant with pediatric experience who thrives in a team-oriented environment. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with kids, is eager to learn, and is willing to take initiative in a growing practice. Responsibilities Assist the dentist during pediatric procedures (cleanings, exams, fillings, sealants, crowns, etc.) Set up and sterilize instruments and treatment areas Take digital X-rays and impressions Provide patient education and post-op instructions to parents and guardians Comfort and guide young patients through their visits with care and patience Support front office tasks when needed (scheduling, patient check-in/out) Maintain a clean, organized, and kid-friendly workspace Contribute to creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for patients and families Qualifications Current California RDA or DA license (Required) Pediatric dental experience strongly preferred CPR/BLS certification (Required) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Reliable, flexible, and team-oriented Experience with Denti-Cal and PPO patients is a plus Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a bonus but not required
