•Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) Join a Trusted, Long-Standing Private Dental Practice in California! Job Summary Join our friendly, privately owned dental practice that's proudly served the community for over 25 years ! We're seeking a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering excellent patient care. Key Responsibilities Assist dentists during procedures while ensuring optimal patient comfort and safety Set up and break down treatment rooms; sterilize instruments following strict infection control standards Capture high-quality dental radiographs (X-rays) Maintain thorough and HIPAA-compliant patient records Educate patients on oral hygiene, treatment plans, and post-op care instructions Assist in both general and pediatric dentistry cases Manage lab case tracking, patient follow-up, and occasional front office tasks (e.g., phone calls, scheduling) Be flexible and ready to step in where needed, fostering a positive team atmosphere Additional Duties for RDAs (per California Scope of Practice) Take impressions for diagnostic models and opposing casts Fabricate and cement temporary crowns with temporary cement only Place and remove temporary restorations Perform coronal polishing Must hold a valid RDA license issued by the Dental Board of California Radiation safety certification required; coronal polish certificate preferred Qualifications Current, valid RDA license Previous dental assisting experience strongly preferred for dental assistants to have at least 2 years with at least one dental practice, especially in a general dental practice. Knowledge of Dentrix or similar dental management software is a plus but not required Proficient in 4-handed dentistry, radiographic techniques, and chairside documentation Strong interpersonal skills, flexibility, and a commitment to quality care Why You'll Love Working With Us Join a tight-knit dental team in a reputable, long-established private practice where your work truly makes a difference. $24.00 - $30.00 per hour
