In this role, you will support dentists during procedures, ensure patient comfort, and maintain the highest standards of infection control and medical documentation. You will also have the opportunity to learn front desk skills. This paid position offers a rewarding opportunity to develop your skills in a patient-centered setting dedicated to improving smiles and confidence. We are willing to train the right candidate in both clinical and reception skills and invite recent grads and students to apply! Responsibilities Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, including restorations, extractions, and prosthodontics, using chairside assisting techniques. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up dental materials, and ensuring all equipment is functioning properly in accordance with aseptic technique standards. Provide excellent customer service as a dental receptionist by scheduling appointments, answering patient inquiries, and managing medical documentation with professionalism. Support infection control protocols by maintaining cleanliness standards and understanding anatomy knowledge relevant to dental procedures. Skills Proficiency in EMR systems such as OpenDental for managing medical records and documentation. Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and various dental specialties including endodontics, prosthodontics, and general dentistry. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality at all times. Ability to perform chairside assisting efficiently in four-handed dentistry setups for optimal workflow. Knowledge of infection control practices and aseptic technique to maintain a sterile environment.
