Dental Assistant

Our company is seeking a professional Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate for this position has prior experience working in a dental office, is comfortable using various dental instruments and treatment techniques, and is skilled at communicating effectively with patients and staff. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, enjoy flexible hours. Hours Tuesday - Saturday (Sundays and Mondays off).

Responsibilities:

Place the tools and the materials which are required for the dentist to carry out his work in a manner that is easy to find. Dispose of hazardous and non-hazardous waste in a way that is safe and environmentally friendly. Sanitize dental instruments after they have been used according to the dentist's instructions. Monitor, record, and communicate changes in patient's condition and respond as appropriate to the needs of the patient and family. Be caring and compassionate toward children and their caretakers. Adhere to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Occupational Safety and Health Administration, and other governmental regulations. Demonstrate proper infection control measures. Communicate with patients on sensitive topics such as diet, medication, or hygiene. Gather and document patient's information.
