Registered Dental Assistant Full Job Description Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist dentists with procedures, perform administrative tasks, and ensure excellent patient care. Join our growing team in a very busy office! The ideal person for this position would be someone that can manage the flow and run the day.

Duties:

Oversee the below duties:

• Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments
• Assist dentists during procedures by handing them instruments
• Take and develop dental X-rays
• Update and maintain patient dental records
• Provide post-operative instructions prescribed by the dentist
• Schedule patient appointments
• Manage inventory of dental supplies

Experience:

• Proficiency in taking vital signs and patient assessment
• Knowledge of dental anatomy and medical coding
• Understanding of HIPAA regulations for patient privacy
• Experience in X-Ray procedures
• Ability to manage medical records efficiently
• Familiarity with Dentrix Ascend software is a plus
