If so, we would love to talk with you. Our dental office is busy and growing with a need for a dedicated assistant to work with our dentists and hygienists to provide exemplary dental care for our patients.
Our ideal candidate has:
3 years of dental practice experience in an assisting role, A current
RDA OR CDA
license, Must be available Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, Is excellent at customer service, organization, and communication skills. Compensation:
$25 - $30 hourly
Responsibilities:
Get treatment rooms ready for examination and procedures by equipping them with necessary sterilized equipment, dental instruments, anesthetics, dental supplies, and materials Sterilize, disinfect, and organize instruments according to strict infection control protocols. Set up and prepare operatories and instrument trays for patient care. Assist with hygiene, periodontal probings, and other clinical needs. Take dental X-rays. Support the back office team with clinical operations and patient flow.
Qualifications:
Associate's Degree or a certification from a college or technical school training program accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation is required Up-to-date BLS/CPR certification is required Previous dental assisting experience as a registered dental assistant or certified dental assistant (3 years) is necessary Proficiency with computers, and experience updating patient histories, and with dental software is necessary
RDA/DA/CDA
license. Previous chairside assisting experience preferred. Proficiency in dental terminology, infection control, and aseptic techniques. Familiarity with carestack dental software (preferred, not required). Knowledge of HIPAA and commitment to patient confidentiality. Strong communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
