For the right candidate who is seeking additional days, we are open to expanding the role to 4 days per week. At Beverly Hills Dental Health and Wellness, we are more than a dental practice. Position Summary The Dental Assistant will support the doctor and clinical team in delivering high-quality care while helping create a calm, organized, and professional patient experience. This role requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication, attention to detail, and a genuine interest in holistic and biological dentistry. Key Responsibilities Assist the dentist and specialist during dental procedures Support biological and holistic dental procedures using proper clinical protocols Take digital dental x-rays, including panoramic imaging and CT scans, as permitted by licensure and certification Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, materials, and equipment for procedures Sterilize instruments and maintain proper infection control standards Follow OSHA, HIPAA, and office compliance protocols Help create a positive, calm, and educational patient experience Perform digital scanning and assist with lab-related tasks Track lab cases and assist with case organization Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation Support treatment presentation and patient coordination when needed Schedule and confirm patient appointments as needed Communicate clearly with doctors, team members, and patients Help maintain a clean, organized, and efficient clinical environment Assist the administrative team and leadership when needed What We Are Looking For Experienced Dental Assistant Professional, reliable, and team-oriented Excellent communication and patient care skills Strong attention to detail and organization Comfortable working in a high-quality, patient-focused dental environment Interest in holistic, biological, and wellness-based dentistry Willingness to learn advanced procedures and new clinical protocols Ability to work well with doctors, specialists, and administrative team members Positive attitude and desire to grow with the practice Preferred Qualifications Dental assisting experience required California Dental Assistant or Registered Dental Assistant preferred X-ray certification preferred Experience with digital x-rays, panoramic imaging, CT scans, and digital scanning preferred Knowledge of infection control, sterilization, OSHA, and HIPAA standards Experience in holistic or biological dentistry is a plus, but not required (We are willing to train the right person) Schedule 3 days per week at our Newport Beach office Possible 4th day available at our Beverly Hills office (if you need more days) Monday to Wednesday 8:00am to 5:00pm No weekends Job Type Part-time Potential for expanded hours depending on candidate availability and office needs Benefits May Include 401(k) On-the-job training Paid sick time Paid time off Professional development assistance Opportunities for advancement Training in holistic and biological dentistry About Beverly Hills Dental Health and Wellness Beverly Hills Dental Health and Wellness is committed to providing dentistry that supports the health of the whole person.
