Registered Dental Assistant, Orthodontic Assistant

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic orthodontic practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our dental team in delivering exceptional services. This position requires a strong understanding of Orthodontic dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently. Responsibilities Assist the Orthodontist during various orthodontic procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow. Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment in compliance with infection control protocols. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. Maintain accurate patient records. Manage appointment scheduling and patient communications as a dental assistant. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Support pediatric dentistry procedures with a gentle approach for young patients. Operate advanced technology such as 3D scanners for precise imaging. Skills Proficiency in infection control practices to ensure patient safety. Knowledge of orthodontic procedures and terminology. Strong skills in dental assisting, including chairside support and patient management. Experience in Orthodontics is necessary. Competence in using 3D scanners for modern dental diagnostics.
