Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Part-Time Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in dental assisting procedures, excellent communication skills, and a passion for providing exceptional patient care. As a Dental Assistant, you will support dentists during various procedures, manage patient records.and know all safety and infection control protocols. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within a supportive environment committed to professional growth. We are looking for an outgoing dental assistant with a great personality who enjoys helping patients with their oral health. The days and hours for this position are:
Monday:
8:30 to 5
Tuesday:
8:30 to 5 Thursday 8;30 TO 5 Responsibilities Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures. This is a gp practice. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available for scheduled procedures. Take digital dental X-rays using advanced imaging technology Maintain accurate and confidential medical records in accordance with HIPAA regulations and manage electronic health records (EHR) systems like Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or Epic. Ensure strict adherence to infection control standards through aseptic techniques and proper sterilization procedures. Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing the dental reception area. Demonstrate proficiency in dental terminology, and dental documentation to facilitate effective communication within the team. Requirements All California Certifications in dental assisting Strong understanding of infection control protocols, aseptic techniques, and sterilization processes. Ability to perform X-ray procedures accurately while maintaining patient comfort and safety. Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients of all ages.
Pay:
$23.00 - $25.00 per hour
