The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic. This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, medical documentation, and aseptic techniques, as well as proficiency in various dental systems and technologies. Duties Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures by providing necessary tools and materials. Perform medical imaging procedures, including X-rays and 3D scanning, to support diagnosis and treatment planning. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for all patients in compliance with clinic protocols. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are stocked. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Manage appointment scheduling, patient intake, and follow-up communications. Collaborate with the dental team to enhance patient experience and clinic efficiency. Qualifications Proven experience in dental assisting or a related field is preferred. Familiarity with dental terminology, medical records management, and medical documentation practices. Proficiency in using dental systems such as Epic for patient management. Knowledge of aseptic techniques to ensure a safe clinical environment. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
