About Us:
At West Coast Dental & Orthodontics, we are dedicated to providing exceptional dental care to children in a friendly and welcoming environment. We are looking for enthusiastic and compassionate individuals to join our team on Sundays.
Position Overview:
We are seeking Pediatric Dental Assistants, Patient Care Coordinators and Receptionists to support our pediatric dental office operations on Sundays. The ideal candidates will have a passion for working with children and a commitment to delivering high-quality care and service.
Pediatric Dental Assistant Responsibilities:
Assist the dentist during dental procedures. Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment. Take and develop dental X-rays. Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene practices. Maintain accurate patient records.
Receptionist Responsibilities:
Greet patients and families with a warm and friendly demeanor. Schedule appointments and manage the office calendar. Handle phone calls and respond to inquiries. Process patient check-ins and check-outs. Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
Patient Care Coordinator Responsibilities:
Coordinate patient care activities and ensure smooth patient flow. Communicate with patients and families regarding treatment plans and follow-up care. Assist with insurance verification and billing inquiries. Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality. Provide support to the dental team as needed.
Requirements:
Pediatric Dental Assistant:
Certification as a Dental Assistant (preferred). Experience in a pediatric dental setting (preferred). Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Receptionist:
Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role (preferred). Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Proficiency in using dental office software and scheduling systems. Friendly and professional attitude.
Patient Care Coordinator:
Previous experience in a healthcare or dental office setting (preferred). Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to handle sensitive patient information with confidentiality. Proficiency in using office software and patient management systems.
