The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills, proven comprehensive clinical experience, and a commitment to high-quality care for our patients. This role is currently part-time. Key Responsibilities Communicate warmly and clearly with patients, parents, and staff. Capture quality, diagnostic dental radiographs for pediatric patients. Perform quality coronal polishing and educate families on oral hygiene. Sterilize instruments and maintain strict infection control protocols in compliance with OSHA, CDC, and state regulations. Set up treatment rooms with appropriate instruments & materials for pediatric dental procedures. Assist with operative procedures using skilled four-handed techniques. Maintain accurate, timely, and detailed clinical documentation and patient records. Required Qualifications 1-2+ years of experience as a dental assistant in a pediatric dental setting.

Certifications:

coronal polishing, sealant, x-ray, and infection control. Confidence in basic pediatric behavior management with demonstrated past experience. Able to independently assist chairside for procedures including composites, pulpotomies, SSCs, zirconia crowns, extractions, and space maintainers. Skilled in taking diagnostic radiographs for pediatric patients. Competency in computer skills for digital charting.
