-Join our dynamic dental team as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA), where you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and supporting the smooth operation of our dental practice. As an energetic and detail-oriented professional, you will assist the dentist during procedures, manage patient records, and ensure adherence to infection control protocols. Your expertise in dental assisting, medical documentation, and clinic management will help create a welcoming environment for patients of all ages. Duties Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments following aseptic techniques to maintain a safe clinical environment Assist dentists chairside during various procedures including restorative, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry treatments Take dental X-rays, using Dexis Manage patient records using Dentrix while maintaining HIPAA compliance for patient confidentiality Perform vital signs assessments and medical imaging to support comprehensive patient evaluations Provide dental reception duties by scheduling appointments, updating medical records, and managing patient communication Ensure infection control standards are upheld through proper sterilization, handling of dental materials, and adherence to OSHA guidelines Qualifications Valid certification as a
RDA/RDAEF
with current state licensure or registration Proven experience in dental assisting within general dentistry. Proficiency with Dentrix and Dexis; familiarity with coding and documentation is a plus Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control procedures, and aseptic techniques Ability to perform X-ray procedures safely while adhering to radiation safety standards Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate patients about procedures and post-care instructions Capable of multitasking in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail and professionalism Join us today to be part of our amazing team dedicated to improving oral health through compassionate care and innovative practices.
