Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic dental team as a Dental Assistant and become a vital part of delivering exceptional oral healthcare! In this energetic role, you will support dentists by preparing treatment areas, assisting during procedures, and ensuring patients feel comfortable and cared for throughout their visit. Your expertise will help streamline operations, enhance patient experiences, and uphold the highest standards of infection control and safety. Duties Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up dental tools, and ensuring all equipment is functioning properly. Assist dentists chairside during various procedures Take dental X-rays using advanced medical imaging technology such as 3D scanners while maintaining strict adherence to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy. Provide excellent patient care by explaining procedures, taking vital signs, and addressing questions with professionalism and empathy. Support infection control protocols through aseptic techniques and proper sterilization procedures to maintain a safe clinical environment. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth clinic operations, including managing appointments as a dental receptionist when needed. Experience Prior experience working in a dental clinic setting is highly preferred, especially with general dentistry practices. Proficiency in dental assisting tasks such as chairside assisting, taking X-rays, and understanding dental terminology is essential. Knowledge of infection control standards, aseptic techniques, and anatomy is crucial for maintaining a safe clinical environment. Experience with 3D scanners or digital X-ray equipment Understanding of HIPAA regulations ensures compliance with patient privacy laws at all times. Certification in dental assisting Bilingual (Spanish preferred)
Pay:
$20.00 - $22.00 per hour
