You will be at the heart of our operations, assisting with various dental procedures, managing patient records, and ensuring a smooth workflow in the clinic. Your expertise in dental terminology and procedures will help create a welcoming environment for our patients. If you're passionate about making a difference in people's lives through oral health, we want to hear from you! We are looking to specifically hire someone who is also able to work 2 Saturdays a month from 8am-2pm. What you'll do Assist dentists during examinations and procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and patient comfort. Prepare and maintain treatment rooms, ensuring all instruments are sterilized and ready for use while adhering to infection control protocols. Take and develop X-rays, utilizing your skills in medical imaging to support accurate diagnoses. Manage electronic medical records (EMR) systems such as Dentrix to document patient information accurately and securely. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care, fostering a positive experience during their visits. Monitor vital signs and assist in the assessment of patients' health conditions prior to treatment. Stay current with dental terminology and advancements in the field to provide informed support during procedures. Basic qualifications Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role within a dental clinic setting. Knowledge of aseptic techniques and infection control measures essential for maintaining patient safety. Preferred qualifications Experience with 3D scanners for advanced imaging techniques.
