Current assistant staying on to train and ensure a smooth transition. Responsibilities Assist during various procedures by preparing and organizing instruments and materials, ensuring efficiency and safety. Take dental X-rays using Dexis and Nomad, Itero scanning, maintaining strict adherence to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques. Manage patient records with Dentrix, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations for confidentiality. Support patient care by taking vital signs, medical history, and documenting medical and dental information precisely. Provide chairside assistance during general dentistry, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry procedures, demonstrating thorough knowledge of dental terminology and anatomy. Maintain a clean and sterile environment by following infection control standards and sterilizing instruments effectively. Skills Proficiency in dental assisting techniques including four-handed dentistry and chairside support. Experience with Dentrix. Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and data security. Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control practices, and aseptic techniques essential for safe practice. Ability to operate diagnostic equipment including Nomad and Itero.
