Our office offers the latest cutting-edge technology and our focus is our commitment to quality patient care. We are looking for a part time RDA to join our team! This role is for 2-3 days a week with the potential of adding on more hours in the future. If you love making patients smile and enjoy a fast-paced work environment, we want you!
Compensation:
$21-$24 per hour DOE Employment type: Part-time (No weekends!)
What You'll Do:
Patient Care:
Greet and prepare patients for treatments, ensuring comfort and answering questions. Assisting the
Dentist:
Assist during dental implant procedures, restorative treatments, and other advanced services.
Treatment Preparation:
Select and set up instruments, equipment, and materials needed for procedures.
Radiography:
Take high-quality digital X-rays, CT scans, and impressions as directed by the dentist.
Sterilization:
Sterilize instruments according to regulations, maintaining a clean and safe environment.
Infection Control:
Pass instruments and materials to the dentist while adhering to infection control protocols.
Laboratory Support:
Assist with dental impressions, models, and other lab procedures.
Patient Education:
Provide post-operative care instructions and follow-up as necessary.
Back Office Maintenance and Organization:
Order and maintain dental supplies and inventory, keeping track of stock levels and restocking as necessary
What We're Looking For:
1 or more years as a Registered Dental Assistant in a dental office Professional and on-time Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping, and be able to stand, sit, or walk Lift/Carry/Push/Pull Items that Weigh up to 30lbs without assistance Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Completion of an accredited dental assisting program or relevant experience Valid RDA license CPR certification X-ray certification/license in accordance with state regulations Strong knowledge of dental instruments, procedures, and terminology Proficiency in infection control and sterilization techniques Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work well in a team environment and be detail-oriented Experience with Dentrix or similar dental software is a plus

General Practice Coronal Polishing Digital X-rays Intraoral Photos Chairside Assistance:
Prepare treatment rooms for patient visits, ensuring cleanliness and proper instrument and equipment setup. Assist the dentist during dental procedures, providing chairside support and anticipating the dentist's needs. Pass instruments and materials to the dentist, while maintaining proper infection control protocols. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as directed by the dentist. Assist with dental impressions, models, and other laboratory procedures. Other duties as assigned.
Sterilization and Maintenance:
Follow strict infection control protocols, including proper sterilization and disinfection of dental instruments and equipment.
