Job Description

At Davis Orthodontics, we are currently looking for a Registered Dental Assistant/Orthodontic Assistant to play a key role in providing excellent clinical support and ensuring each patient receives exceptional orthodontic care and a positive experience during every visit. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working with patients of all ages, and values teamwork and professionalism. We have 2 offices located in San Diego and Escondido! This role travels between both offices to support operations and provide excellent patient care
Schedule:
Monday - Thursday 8am - 5pm
Responsibilities:
Assist the orthodontist during patient procedures and adjustments Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments according to OSHA and infection control standards Take digital X-rays, photographs, and impressions/scans as needed Place and remove orthodontic appliances under doctor supervision Provide patient education regarding oral hygiene and appliance care Maintain accurate patient records and charting Ensure patients feel comfortable, informed, and cared for throughout their visit Support front and back office teamwork as needed Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient clinical environment
Qualifications:
Current Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license required Orthodontic experience required CPR certification required Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Positive attitude with strong attention to detail Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a team-oriented environment Professional, dependable, and patient-focused
