Full Job Description Dental Assistant Overview:

We are seeking a professional and organized Dental Assistant to join our team. The role is to assist general dental procedures in a family practice and other office tasks as assigned. Familiarity and experience in a dental office environment is helpful but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate with potential to grow.

Responsibilities:

• Assist dentist during procedures, prepare patients for treatment, maintain a safe and sterile work environment
• Greet and welcome patients in a friendly and professional manner
• Answer phone calls with proper phone etiquette
• Proactively manage office scheduling duties
• Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently
• Maintain organizational systems to ensure smooth office operations
• Utilize computer skills for various tasks
• Assist with office administrative duties as needed

Qualifications:

• Proficient in computer usage and software applications
• Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
• Strong data entry abilities with attention to detail
