Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic while providing exceptional care to our patients. This position requires a blend of clinical and administrative skills, as the Dental Assistant will assist in various procedures, manage patient records, and maintain a welcoming environment. Responsibilities Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety. Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment following aseptic techniques. Take dental X-rays and ensure proper imaging protocols are followed. Manage patient records, including medical histories and treatment plans, maintaining confidentiality at all times. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Schedule appointments and manage the dental reception area efficiently. Monitor vital signs as needed during procedures. Support various dental specialties including general dentistry and endodontics as required. Qualifications Previous experience in a dental clinic or similar environment is preferred. Proficiency in dental assisting techniques, including knowledge of medical imaging practices. Familiarity with dental receptionist duties is an advantage. Strong understanding of aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile work environment. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members. Ability to manage medical records accurately and maintain patient confidentiality. A commitment to providing high-quality patient care with attention to detail.
