Dental Assistant w/ Coronal Polishing or RDA

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant with Coronal Polishing or RDA to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of dental procedures and terminology. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring patient comfort and assisting the dental team in delivering high-quality care. Schedule is Monday thru Thursday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Responsibilities Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, utilizing four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available. Take and develop dental X-rays while adhering to safety protocols and HIPAA regulations. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation, including patient histories and treatment plans. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff. Greeting patients on their arrival, Answering phone calls, Taking Payment and Scheduling their next appointment. Qualifications Proficiency in dental terminology, medical documentation, and medical coding is highly desirable. Familiarity with dental software systems such as Open Dental is an asset. Strong communication skills with the ability to educate patients on treatment plans and oral health practices. Commitment to maintaining confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations. Aseptic technique knowledge is essential for maintaining infection control standards.
