Job Description

Qualifications:
- Must be a Dental Assistant with current training certificates
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- X-ray certified
Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Take and develop dental x-rays and perform other medical imaging procedures
- Maintain accurate patient records using electronic systems
- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Take impressions, poor models, make retainers
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality
Experience:
- Knowledge and experience with orthodontic assisting preferred
- Knowledge of dental anatomy and terminology
- Familiarity with dental software systems
- Ability to work with MacOS
- Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus
