In this vital role, you will provide exceptional chairside assistance, support patient care, and ensure smooth daily operations within our busy dental practice. Your expertise in dental procedures, infection control, and patient communication will contribute to delivering outstanding dental services in a friendly and professional environment. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate dental professional eager to grow their career while making a positive impact on patients' oral health. All positions are paid, including internships. Responsibilities Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures, including general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry. Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments, materials, and supplies while maintaining strict aseptic techniques. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays), including digital imaging and 3D scans using advanced equipment such as 3D scanners. Manage patient records accurately within EMR systems like Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or Epic, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient confidentiality. Perform vital signs assessments and medical documentation to support comprehensive patient care. Support front desk operations by assisting with dental receptionist duties when needed, including scheduling appointments and verifying insurance information. Maintain infection control standards and adhere to OSHA guidelines to ensure a safe clinical environment for patients and staff. Educate patients on oral health practices and post-treatment care instructions clearly and professionally. Qualifications Minimum of one year of experience as a DA or RDA in a fast-paced dental clinic setting. Proficiency Open dental with medical coding and medical records management is preferred. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control protocols, aseptic techniques, and medical terminology related to dentistry. Ability to operate dental equipment including X-ray machines, intraoral cameras, 3D scanners, and other dental imaging tools. Familiarity with pediatric dentistry procedures and working comfortably with children is a plus. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages and team members.
