Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice on Monday , Wednesday, and Thursday from 9 am to 6pm. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting the dental team in delivering exceptional services. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and sterile environment. If you have high desire to learn, we are willing to teach you as well. Duties Assist the dentist during various procedures, including general dentistry and prosthodontics. Prepare patients for examinations and treatments, ensuring their comfort and safety. Perform medical imaging as required, ensuring accurate positioning and quality of images. Maintain accurate medical documentation, including patient records and treatment plans. Utilize Dentrix software for scheduling appointments, managing patient information, and billing processes. Apply knowledge of medical terminology and coding to assist in administrative tasks. Follow aseptic techniques to ensure a clean and safe working environment. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient workflow within the practice. Requirements Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or similar role is preferred. Strong knowledge of anatomy related to dental health and procedures. Familiarity with medical documentation practices and terminology is essential. Proficiency in using Dentrix or similar dental software is highly desirable. Ability to perform medical imaging techniques effectively. Understanding of aseptic techniques to maintain infection control standards. Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on patient care and communication. Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently. $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
