Dental Assistant

We are a pediatric dental office committed to creating a positive experience for little smiles! We strive on making every visit a great experience for both our patients and their parents. The dental assistant position is one of the faces of our organization and therefore, must have great people and communication skills. The perfect candidate will have a friendly, professional demeanor with a pleasant personality. Being compassionate and naturally helpful is a must for this position.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine dental cleanings and patient x-rays
• Offer patients advice and materials necessary to maintain good dental health
• Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Document completely and accurately on progress notes any treatment performed as well as notation of anything else concerning the patient's visit to the office.
• Stock and maintain clinical work area
• Work in a fast pace environment while multitasking and learning quickly
• Maintain confidentiality of businesses and client information
• Participate in activities outside of the office, including training, team building events, etc.

Qualifications:

Current RDA license Minimum 1 year dental assisting experience, preferably in a pediatric office Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
