Job Description

Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will support dentists in delivering high-quality care, ensuring smooth clinic operations, and maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient environment. Your expertise will help enhance patient experiences and promote optimal oral health outcomes. Duties Assist dentists during various procedures, including general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and materials, ensuring aseptic techniques are followed Take and develop dental X-rays while adhering to infection control protocols and HIPAA regulations for patient privacy Manage electronic medical records (EMR systems) such as Eaglesoft and Dentrix to document patient information accurately Perform chairside assisting with four-handed dentistry techniques to improve efficiency and patient comfort Measure vital signs and assist with medical imaging procedures as needed for comprehensive patient assessments Support dental reception duties by scheduling appointments, verifying insurance information, and managing patient flow Qualifications Proven experience working in a dental clinic environment with proficiency in dental assisting tasks Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control practices, and aseptic technique Familiarity with EMR systems such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, and Epic for medical documentation and records management Ability to operate X-ray equipment safely and accurately while maintaining HIPAA compliance Knowledge of pediatric dentistry practices and experience caring for pediatric patients is preferred Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members Certification in dental assisting or relevant training in medical terminology is highly desirable Join our team to make a difference in patients' lives by providing compassionate care with precision and professionalism. Pay:
$25.69 - $30.94 per hour
