This is a cross-functional role perfect for someone who excels in high-quality 4-handed dentistry but is also eager to lean in and support front-office operations when needed. Key Responsibilities Clinical Support:

Assist the dentist in comprehensive 4-handed dentistry, take high-quality radiographs, and manage chair-side patient care.

Sterilization & Flow:

Efficiently clean, prepare, and turnover operatories; sterilize instruments; and track clinical supplies.

Front Office Cross-Training:

Support the administrative team by answering patient questions, scheduling/confirming appointments, and eventually assisting with insurance billing and collections. Required Qualifications & Certifications Current California Dental Assistant (DA or RDA) certification Active X-ray license and Coronal Polishing certification Active Infection Control and CPR certifications Strong communication skills and a dependable, professional work ethic Preferred Skills Previous experience with dental insurance billing is a major plus, but a strong willingness to learn front-office workflows is highly welcome.

Pay:

$22.00 - $26.00 per hour
