Dental Assistant Brookhurst Mcfadden Dental Group Westminster, CA Job Details Part-time | Full-time From $20 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Spanish CPR Certification Dental assisting Medical software BLS Certification Vietnamese High school diploma or GED X-Ray Certification Dentrix Full Job Description We are seeking a reliable, organized, and patient-focused Dental Assistant to support our dental team in providing high-quality patient care. The Dental Assistant will prepare treatment rooms, assist the dentist during procedures, maintain sterilization standards, take X-rays, and help ensure smooth daily office operations.
DUTIES:
Prepare treatment rooms and dental instruments. Assist the dentist during procedures. Hand instruments and suction devices to the dentist. Sterilize and disinfect equipment. Take dental X-rays (pano, CT Scan, FMX) Take impressions of patients' teeth. (retainers, dentures, nightguard) Apply fluoride treatments or sealants (where permitted). Record patient medical histories and treatment notes. Provide patients with oral hygiene and post-procedure instructions. Help patients feel comfortable before procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or GED Completion of a dental assisting program CPR certification X-ray certification Familiarity with dental software systems such as Dentrix & Dexis. Previous dental office experience is a plus.
