The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental practice while providing exceptional care to our patients. This position requires a proactive individual with strong communication skills and a passion for dental health. Duties Assist the dentist during various procedures, including endodontics and pediatric dentistry. Prepare and maintain the treatment room, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are ready for use. Take and develop medical imaging, including X-rays, while adhering to safety protocols. Record and update patient medical documentation accurately in Dentrix, ensuring compliance with medical coding standards. Monitor and record vital signs of patients before, during, and after procedures. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dental office, adhering to infection control protocols. Manage patient records efficiently, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy. Qualifications Previous experience in dental assisting is preferred but not mandatory. Knowledge of dental anatomy and procedures is essential. Familiarity with Open Dental software. Proficient in medical imaging techniques and documentation practices. Ability to effectively communicate with patients, providing excellent customer service. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are required. Certification in CPR or Basic Life Support (BLS) is advantageous.
