We are looking for a dependable, energetic, and patient-focused Registered Dental Assistant/Orthodontic Assistant to join our team and help deliver the outstanding care our patients know and love. The Registered Dental Assistant/Orthodontic Assistant plays a key role in providing excellent clinical support and ensuring each patient receives exceptional orthodontic care and a positive experience during every visit. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working with patients of all ages, and values teamwork and professionalism.
Responsibilities:
Assist the orthodontist during patient procedures and adjustments Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments according to OSHA and infection control standards Take digital X-rays, photographs, and impressions/scans as needed Place and remove orthodontic appliances under doctor supervision Provide patient education regarding oral hygiene and appliance care Maintain accurate patient records and charting Ensure patients feel comfortable, informed, and cared for throughout their visit Support front and back office teamwork as needed Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient clinical environment
Qualifications:
Current Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license required Orthodontic experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate CPR certification required Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Positive attitude with strong attention to detail Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a team-oriented environment Professional, dependable, and patient-focused
