Orthodontic Dental Assistant

Overview We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and motivated person to join our team. The ideal candidate is a team-oriented, detail focused, and passionate about providing excellent patient care. Responsibilities Assist orthodontists during procedures and patient treatments. Prepare and sterilize instruments, materials, and dental supplies. Seat and prepare patients for treatment. Manage patient records efficiently, ensuring HIPAA compliance and confidentiality. Provide patient education on orthodontic care, appliance maintenance, and oral hygiene. Adjust wires, change elastics, and remove bonding (as permitted). Maintain accurate patient records and charting. Ensure OSHA and infection control protocols are followed. Support front office when needed. Requirements Previous orthodontics or dental assisting experience preffered. Orthodontics assisting experience a plus (will train the right candidate). Strong communication and customer skills. Ability to multitask and work in a team environment. Positive attitude and professional appearance.
