Job Description

The company's team of 100+ award-winning doctors provide a full range of general dentistry, orthodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and board-certified pediatric dental services in 50+ Rodeo locations throughout the states of Texas and Colorado.
JOB OVERVIEW
The Travel Denver Metroplex Ortho Dental Assistant is a key member and contributor in creating an amazing, one-of-a-kind Patient Experience. They will provide direct patient care in all stages of an orthodontic appointment. Successful candidates will work in the Back Office and in our world-class lobbies engaging, entertaining, and caring for our patients.
QUALIFICATIONS
Dental practice management software (Open Dental/Dentrix) experience Bilingual (Spanish) is required
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Assist with Orthodontist in treating patient Instruct patient of elastic treatment Preparing tray set-ups according to doctor preferences and planned procedures Taking diagnostic quality X-Rays and attaching them to the patient chart Mixing amalgam, cement, and preparing impression materials Pouring, trimming, and polishing impression trays Assisting with bonding, banding, adjusting, and debonding orthodontic patients Placing and cementing bands Setting up orthodontic brackets and removing excess cement from brackets and bands Making retainers, bleaching trays, and impressions Providing excellent chairside assistance and anticipating next steps to stay in constant mental synchronization with the doctor Taking patient initial, progress, and debond photos Taking scans of patients for clear aligners or models

Prolonged sitting and standing as needed Ability to lift up to 15 lbs
