Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a team-oriented Dental Assistant to join our beautiful practice. Our practice is growing quickly and we need someone with the patient's best interest to join us, 1+ years of experience. Spanish speaking is preferred as well . Responsibilities Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up dental tools, and ensuring all equipment is functioning properly. Assist dentists during various procedures such as cleanings, restorations, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry. Take and develop dental X-rays using advanced imaging technology like 3D scanners while adhering to proper safety protocols. Manage patient records by updating medical documentation, medical records, and ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient privacy. Provide chairside assistance with aseptic techniques and infection control procedures to maintain a sterile environment. Educate patients on dental terminology, post-treatment care instructions, and oral health best practices to promote ongoing wellness. Skills Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and infection control standards essential for safe practice. Experience with dental imaging techniques such as X-ray and 3D scanning technology. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality at all times. Knowledge of pediatric dentistry practices to effectively assist with young patients. Competence in general dentistry procedures along with specialized fields like endodontics and prosthodontics.
