We are looking for a friendly, energetic, and dependable Dental Assistant or EDDA (Expanded Duties Dental Assistant) who enjoys working with kids and families and wants to grow with a start-up practice from the beginning. Responsibilities:

Prepare and disinfect treatment rooms according to OSHA and CDC infection control standards Sterilize instruments and maintain organized clinical areas Assist the doctor chairside during restorative, preventive, emergency, and pediatric dental procedures Take high-quality digital X-rays and intraoral images safely and efficiently Support patient flow and maintain an efficient clinical schedule Help create a calm, positive experience for children, teens, and anxious patients Provide patient education on oral hygiene, preventive care, and post-operative instructions Accurately chart treatment notes and update patient records using dental software systems Assist with sealants, coronal polishing, fluoride, impressions, temporaries, and expanded duties (if EDDA certified) Maintain inventory and assist with ordering supplies as needed Collaborate closely with front office and clinical team members to provide excellent patient care

Qualifications:

Active Colorado Dental Assistant or EDDA certification CPR certification required X-ray certification required Pediatric dental experience preferred, but not required Experience with Dentrix, Open Dental, or similar dental software preferred Strong communication and teamwork skills Positive attitude, professionalism, and reliability Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment Comfortable working with children, teens, and families from diverse backgrounds

Schedule:

Starting at $19•21/hour

EDDA:
