In this vital role, you will assist dentists during procedures, manage patient records, and ensure the clinic operates smoothly and efficiently. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will contribute to positive patient experiences and the overall success of our practice. Experience is helpful but not required!
WE ARE WILLING TO TRAIN THE RIGHT CANDIDATE WHO IS EAGER TO LEARN.
Duties Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up dental tools, and ensuring all equipment is functioning properly in accordance with infection control protocols. Assist dentists during a variety of procedures including preventative dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and surgical dentistry by handing instruments, managing suction devices, and providing chairside support. Take dental radiographs (X-ray imaging) while adhering to safety standards Manage patient records using electronic medical record (EMR) systems like Eaglesoft Ensure strict adherence to infection control standards, including sterilization procedures and maintaining a clean clinical environment. Assist with dental procedures involving advanced technology such as 3D scanners Educate patients on post-treatment care, dental terminology, and preventive practices to promote oral health awareness. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for maintaining accurate medical records and supporting administrative functions. The ideal candidate will possess the following: Friendly and positive attitude. Capable of multitasking. Team player. Punctual and reliable. Dental assisting experience a plus, but not mandatory; we are willing to train the right person. Bilingual a plus. Will work THREE 12-hour shifts per week with at least one Saturday a month 4 days off every week.
