Current hours are Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday with occasional Tuesdays after proper training is established. Must have excellent people skills, attention to detail, and at least 1 year of experience. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is strongly preferred. A qualified applicant will be proficient in obtaining diagnostic digital radiographs, performing rubber cup prophylaxis, charting, properly disinfecting and sterilizing treatment areas, instruments, and equipment. Must be knowledgeable in dental terminology, instrument identification, taking alginate impressions, as well as basic computer functions. Experience with Eaglesoft is a plus. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for proper tray and room setups, performing timely hygiene appointments, assisting chairside in a variety of procedures including sealants, composite restorations, SSC's, and extractions, maintaining necessary supply levels in hygiene bays and operatories, and helping with equipment maintenance. Desired, but not necessary, are applicants who are bilingual, have experience with children, have experience with conscious sedation treatments, and experience or interest with assisting in a hospital setting. The right candidate may see hours and duties expand to full-time (Monday-Thursday) in near future.
