We are looking for a full-time, Experienced Dental Assistant to join our fun and hardworking team. We appreciate a work-life balance. Our office has a 4 day work week and work 180 day a year. We are a fee for service one Dr. / one Hygienist General Dental office with an emphasis on TMJ and bite rehabilitation treatment. The ideal candidate is a multi-task person with high energy, outgoing and fun personality, professional demeanor with strong interpersonal communication skills, congenial and sensitive attitude toward our patients. You must have exceptional chairside etiquette and exceptional 4 handed dentistry skills and always have the mind set of putting the patients first. Our patients are our family. Duties Examples Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and materials, ensuring adherence to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols. Assist dentist during a wide range of procedures including general dentistry, prosthodontics Lab work, including taking and pouring models, mounting models. Scanning for digital impressions with 3shape Trios Take and develop dental radiographs (X-ray), including 3D scans, while maintaining patient safety standards. Manage patient records accurately using electronic medical record in Eaglesoft, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. Provide chairside 4 handed assistance by handling dental instruments, suctioning, and managing patient comfort throughout procedures. Be able to pack cords and make well fitting provisionals. Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment following infection control guidelines and OSHA standards for medical documentation and records management. Skills Proficiency in Eaglesoft for managing medical records and documentation. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to dental care. Experience with dental imaging techniques including X-ray procedures and 3D scanning technology. Familiarity with infection control protocols, aseptic technique, and sterilization processes within a dental clinic setting. Ability to perform chairside assisting efficiently across various specialties such as prosthodontics Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients of all ages, especially pediatrics, ensuring a positive experience. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment practicing four-handed dentistry for optimal efficiency.
