  • Job Summary:
  • We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant with EFDA (Expanded Functions Dental Assistant) or EDDA (Expanded Duties Dental Assistant) certification to join our dental team. The Dental Assistant will assist the dentist with patient care and perform a variety of tasks to help ensure excellent patient care and support the smooth running of the dental office.
  • Qualifications:
  • EFDA or EDDA certification required High school diploma or equivalent X-ray certification preferred CPR certification Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a team environmenT Bilingual in english and spanish would be not required but beneficial.
  • Responsibilities:
  • Assist the dentist during dental procedures Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment Take and develop dental X-rays Update patient records and maintain patient confidentiality Educate patients on oral hygiene and postoperative care Schedule patient appointments and manage office inventory Provide exceptional customer service and address patient concerns with empathy and professionalism
