Dental Assistant/EFDA

Urnise Dentistry We are looking for an energetic, self motivated dental assistant candidate to join our dental team. We strive to have excellent customer service and know our patients personally in the practice. We are looking for someone with EDFA dental experience and/or several years of training in this field for this role. Pay will be determined based on experience. Responsibilities Sterilize instruments according to regulations Preparing rooms between patients Setting up rooms for procedures Stocking dental rooms and proper OSHA standards for cleaning Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry Perform EFDA procedures Skills Experience as dental assistant and expanded functions if possible Ability to multitask and take direction Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods Understanding OSHA regulations and OSHA training Ability to work with computerized dental software program Bilingual skills (not required but preferred) Excellent communication and people skills Attention to detail Well-organized and reliable High school diploma; graduating from dental assistant school is preferred Additional certification or training is an asset (e.g.

EFDA, CPR
