Prefer at least two years of experience chair-side assisting/four-handed dentistry. Seeking a candidate who has professional communication skills and chair-side manner, customer service skills, the ability to take initiative, and a willingness to be a part of a team. This position offers opportunities for growth and development as a dental assistant with that we expect a strong willingness to learn and adaptability in our growing practice. We take pride in providing our patients with a fun, safe, and personable environment. Hours of the practice are Monday through Thursday 7:30 am to 5 pm.

Responsibilities :

Chair-side Assisting/ Four-handed Dentistry Taking X-rays and Intraoral/Extraoral Photos Taking Intra-oral scans with CEREC or Physical Impressions Fabricating porcelain restorations (Crowns, Bridges, Veneers, Implant Crowns, Inlays/Onlays) with CEREC technology, Fabricating Dental Appliances (Retainers, Space Maintainers, Night Guards) with 3D Printer. (On-the-job training provided for these tasks) Sterilization of Instruments, Maintaining organization of instruments Tearing down, disinfecting, and setting up operatories Digital Charting and Competence with Computers, Dentrix Ascend as Practice Management Software Routine Cleaning of the Facility and Operatories Answering Phones and Making Appointments, as needed Verify and update patient health history, including medications, and dental concerns document appropriately in patients chart Maintain standards of HIPAA and patient confidentiality Assist with other office duties as requested or needed

Qualifications :

High School Diploma or Equivalent Active CPR/BLS Certification (Required) 2 year of Dental Assisting Experience (Preferred) X-Ray Certification (Required)

Physical Requirements :

This position requires full range of body motion. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, walk, stand, reach with hands and arms, and lift up to 25lbs, occasionally 50lbs.

Compensation :

$17-26/hr
