We provide high quality pediatric dental care in a fun, welcoming environment where children feel safe, supported, and proud of their visit. As a privately owned practice, we value relationships, teamwork, and creating a calm, positive experience for both families and staff. Position Overview We are seeking a Pediatric Dental Assistant who is upbeat, fun, loving, and passionate about working with children. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys creating joyful experiences, building trust with kids, and being part of a supportive, collaborative team. At Camp Little Tooth, our assistants play a key role in shaping how children feel about dentistry for life. New dental assistants are welcome to apply, and we are happy to train motivated individuals who are excited to learn pediatric dentistry. Key Responsibilities Assist the pediatric dentist during dental procedures while ensuring patient comfort and safety Create a calm, positive, and engaging experience for children and parents Take high quality digital radiographs including bitewings and panoramic images Place dental sealants and fluoride treatments as directed Prepare, clean, and set up treatment rooms before and after each patient Sterilize instruments and maintain strict infection control protocols Support age appropriate behavior guidance techniques Educate children and parents on oral hygiene in a fun, approachable way Maintain accurate clinical notes and assist with charting as needed Work collaboratively with doctors, assistants, and front office team Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming clinical environment Who We Are Looking For Someone who genuinely loves children and enjoys creating positive experiences An upbeat, energetic, and compassionate personality A team oriented individual who values kindness, communication, and teamwork Strong attention to detail and commitment to excellent patient care Pediatric dental experience preferred but not required Experience with Open Dental preferred but not required Current CPR certification or willingness to obtain Dental assisting certificate required or in progress Why You Will Love Working Here At Camp Little Tooth Pediatric Dentistry, we believe that a great work experience starts with balance, support, and teamwork.
