Job Description

We are looking for an experienced dental assistant to join our team. We have a small practice that is limited to the dental treatment of sleep apnea (no other dental procedures are performed). Our office works side by side with the top sleep physician in Colorado, in order to provide the highest quality of care. We hold ourselves to the highest standards of patient care and experience. We are looking for someone with an outgoing personality that can handle multitasking in a fast-paced and fun environment. You will have access to the highest quality of training in all aspects of assisting in the dental treatment of sleep apnea. No experience in the oral appliance therapy is necessary, however, experience as a dental assistant/EDDA is required.
Duties will include:
Taking quick, accurate, and efficient notes for the doctors during exam appointments. Making detailed adjustments on oral appliances during delivery and follow-up appointments. Calibrate scanners, and perform computer updates weekly. Explaining follow-up instructions to the patient in detail. Performing follow-up visits with patients that include both in-office, telemedicine and phone call follow-ups. Handling all ordering and inventory of cases and supplies. Breaking down and setting up rooms between appointments. Communicating follow-up steps to the patient and front office. Assure all dental office infection control policies and safety regulations are met by disinfecting and sterilizing all equipment and instruments after use. Restocking of supplies The position is Monday-Thursday position from 8:15am-4:30pm and we are offering $30/hour. A minimum of 50 WPM on a typing test must be submitted with resume.
