Job Description
Magnolia Dental Care is seeking a dental assistant to join our patient-focused team and provide the highest quality care to our patients and the community. We are looking for the perfect person to provide a positive experience of our office and make a meaningful connection with our patients to ensure they have the best possible experience. Our ideal candidate for this position would have prior dental assisting experience but we are willing to train candidates that are open, flexible, and positive, and willing to learn as they go! We are looking for either an experienced EDDA or a driven assistant who is eager to expand their skillset and be trained into an EDDA role. Cross-training will be likely in the future with more opportunity to learn front office if you find that it suits you. This is a great opportunity for professional growth to learn and grow with the business. Responsibilities include:
Assist the doctor during a variety of procedures, including restorative and cosmetic treatments Taking x-rays and intraoral scans Charting and writing notes for the doctor Turning over rooms, cleaning office and sterilization of instruments Maintain sterilization and infection control protocols Interacting with patients in a positive manner Digital imaging, designing & milling CEREC crowns Assist with and manage in-office 3D printing workflows (SprintRay) Creating lab cases Keeping back office inventory Ensure a smooth, comfortable, and high-quality experience for every patient Support overall clinical flow and team efficiencyJob Requirements:
Prior dental assisting experience preferred X-ray and CPR Certification required Open Dental experience preferred Outstanding written and verbal communication skills Exceptional customer service skills Friendly, positive demeanor with patients and team members Reliable for schedule working Monday-Thursday EDDA certification or strong interest in advancing to EDDA (training available for the right candidate) Interest in digital dentistry and learning new technology (CEREC, 3D printing)Desired Attributes:
