Our team values collaboration, providing an exceptional patient experience, and we are looking for a skilled Expanded Duty Dental Assistant (EDDA) to join us.
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Expanded Duty Dental Assistant (EDDA) who is confident in performing expanded duties and assisting in a wide range of procedures. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform all Expanded Duty Dental Assistant (EDDA) functions in accordance with state regulations Assist the dentist during a variety of procedures, including oral surgery Place and contour restorations as permitted Take digital radiographs and impressions Maintain accurate and thorough patient records Ensure operatory rooms are clean, stocked, and prepared Provide excellent patient care and education Follow all OSHA and infection control protocols
Preferred Qualifications:
EDDA certification (required) Prior experience performing EDDA duties Comfortable assisting with oral surgery and implant procedures Experience with orthodontics and/or Invisalign preferred Familiarity with Open Dental software is a plus Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work well in a team environment
Pay:
$25.00 - $30.00 per hour
