Job Summary Join our dynamic dental team as a Dental Assistant and become a vital part of delivering exceptional patient care! Duties Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and setting up dental materials, ensuring strict adherence to infection control and aseptic techniques. Assist dentists chairside during various procedures, including general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, orthodontics (braces and clear aligners) and pediatric dentistry, providing necessary tools and support seamlessly. Take dental X-rays and medical imaging, accurately recording vital signs and maintaining detailed medical documentation in electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as Dentrix. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations by safeguarding patient privacy and handling medical records with confidentiality. Support the use of advanced technology like 3D scanners/ Cerec for precise diagnostics and treatment planning. Maintain a clean, organized clinic environment while adhering to infection control protocols and anatomy knowledge to assist with procedures confidently. Requirements Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar dental clinic environment with familiarity in dental assisting procedures. Proficiency with EMR systems such as Dentrix; experience with Epic or other medical documentation platforms is a plus. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations, infection control standards, and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety. Ability to perform X-ray procedures accurately while maintaining safety standards for patients and staff. Strong understanding of dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and medical terminology relevant to dentistry. Experience supporting pediatric dentistry practices is highly desirable; familiarity with pediatrics is preferred. Embark on a rewarding career where your skills make a difference every day! Pay:
$25.34 - $32.11 per hour
